It's a long weekend

It’s Saturday; and, it’s a long weekend. As I blogged before, I am too lazy to go out of our home on weekends unless the event or task is really important and necessary or there’s a compelling reason to do so.

Dinner for two

On our way home last Tuesday afternoon, we passed by Trinoma to dine. Most of the time, we eat either in our favorite Japanese or Chinese restaurant. This time, I intimated to my wife to try the other restaurants. She did consider them, all right; but, we ended up eating Japanese food again:

No Swerving

I saw signs along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), particularly in Mandaluyong City, that swerving or changing lanes is not allowed on solid lines but on broken lines only. I think that defines what unauthorized swerving is.

Do I look like a security guard?

I was chatting with our company’s security guard, when I recalled my experience two weeks back.

Before going home, I passed by the Victory Liner terminal in Kamias, Quezon City to pick up some goods from the province – my eldest sister’s birthday treat.

My Clear Black Night Experience

Last Friday night – October 31, I, with some friends, attended the bloggers party dubbed as the “Clear Black Night Halloween Dance Party” at the Taste Asia in MOA. A costume wasn’t required but sexy black dress. It’s a hell of a party, the mother of all bloggers’ parties, and the sexiest party I’ve ever attended.

Smoke belchers

November is Clear Air month.

The Land Transportation Office requires that all vehicles for renewal of certificate of registration must be subject and pass the smoke test to be conducted by an LTO accredited smoke testing center.

The Department of Environment and Natural Resources – Environmental Management Bureau (DENR-EMB) and Local Government are also conducting actual smoke testings on the roads.

These measures, if properly and strictly implemented and enforced, would minimize if not eliminate, smoke belching vehicles plying our roads.

However, I wondering why there are still so many smoke belching vehicles running within the metropolis.

Visiting our departed loved ones

Every November 1st, we troop to the cemeteries, where our departed loved were laid to rest.

We’re not able to leave early as I woke up late since I came home at around 1:00 AM from the Clear Black Night Halloween Dance Party at Taste Asia, MOA.

The first stop was at the Holy Cross Memorial Park in Novaliches to visit the grave of my parents-in-law. We stayed there until about 11:00 AM.
